Colleen Walsh
Colleen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Painting at University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, and her Master’s in Art Education at Columbia College. She is the master craftsman behind the many sculptural objects and functional objects at Pearl. On any given day you may find her in her studio at her scroll saw cutting up wood, books, or anything the size of a bread box, canning jalapenos from her garden, garbage picking, or hatching her next big scheme. All this with her studio mate, 6 month old super baby, Clark!

Liz Wolf
Liz studied at Painting University of Illinois and received her MFA in Book and Paper Arts at Columbia College. She loves to draw and paint, and print letterpress! She has an affinity for things odd and old. Many of her prints, collages, and collaborative Wolf and Wren cards can be found at Pearl. Her newest projects include hand cut, hand drawn ornaments, photo collage paintings, and food-chain plates (fact checked by her Science minded husband). Any given Sunday you can find her cruising the aisles of Dick Blick store, collaging vintage magazines, or drawing at her giant desk, (all while talking on the phone).

Heather Klausa
Heather went to the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she stayed up late painting and enjoying life with the likes of Liz and Colleen. She took her painting and art education degrees and became an at-home artist and art education teacher in the western burbs. Heather is a true Jill of all trades- From realistic paintings to screen printed coasters to a hot air balloon costume for her three year-old- this lady can make anything!
Heather’s recent print projects have been created on her gocco - a compact 1970s Japanese machine. Although she’s not one to brag, it must be noted that her creations have recently been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appetite, and Apartment Therapy.

Robbie Deiters
Robbie studied art at Columbia College, but mastered her craft in the field. She has worked in the family business, Colyer Signs, as a professional sign maker for 14+ years and learned from the best, her Dad. Robbie is a one stop shop- creating images and text, cutting and weeding vinyl, and installing in a jiffy! She and her husband, Mark, enjoy doing collaborations such as beanbag boxes and wrought iron tables. In addition to vinyl design and installation, Robbie specializes in enamel painting.

Amy Desmond
Amy is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and has Masters Degrees from both Depaul University in Science Education and IIT in Math Education. She is fond of using both hemispheres of her brain. Amy is a CPS Math teacher, a super crafter, and a vintage maven.
